Farmer found dead in mango tree

Police in St Elizabeth are investigating the unusual discovery of a man's body found perched in a mango tree in Lacovia yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old farmer Delroy Brown of Burton District.

Reports indicate that authorities were alerted to the scene around 12:40 p.m. Upon arrival, Brown was found in a sitting position in the tree.

His body was removed and taken for a postmortem as the investigation continues.
